In 2008 Titan Echipamente Nucleare signed a contract with the American company Basic-PSA, Inc. be the Romanian representative for mechanical snubbers.

The American partner is certified by The American Society of Mechanical Engineers in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for manufacturing mechanical shock arrestors, nuclear class 1, 2, and 3.

Also, Basic-PSA, Inc. was audited and authorized by the Romanian regulatory bodies, respectively CNCAN and ISCIR.
